This week’s playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone is out and brought back some missing fan favorites. MeinMMO provides an overview of the currently active modes and what they offer.
What does the playlist look like this week? This week’s highlight is a brand new mode for the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 – All or Nothing.
Additionally, there were a few favorite modes that had disappeared from the rotation for a while. For players of the Battle Royale Warzone, there is the BR-4 mode, which was replaced by a realism version. In multiplayer, finally the “Boots on the Ground” mode is back on the list, a “Ground War” variant without tanks.
Here is the announcement from Infinity Ward on Twitter:
New Playlists from June 23
What are these modes? Especially in multiplayer, the modes differ significantly from last week’s. Additionally, one mode is premiering in the current CoD. So here is a brief overview of what you can play this week:
- Modern Warfare
- Realism Moshpit – Many maps, many modes, little HUD
- Ground War on Foot – “Ground War” mode without tanks
- Gunfight Blueprints – 3vs3 gunfights with random blueprint weapons
- Campsite – Moshpit with 10vs10 on 6vs6 maps
- All or Nothing – New survival mode
- Confrontation – 3vs3 shootouts with objective-based modes
- Warzone
- Team Rumble – Large 50vs50 team deathmatches
- Plunder 4 – The standard plunder mode with 4-player teams
- BR-4
- BR-3
- BR-2
- BR-Solo
What’s going on with CoD? Currently, a controller adapter is plaguing fair players. The device is originally designed to make devices compatible with each other. Now, clever cheaters are using it to reduce their recoil. With stable weapons like the Grau 5.56, the aim point hardly moves.
However, players are also finding cool tricks. Under the right conditions, you can organize a recon drone until the match ends in Warzone. Depending on how much cash you collect, you can rely on the help of a UAV for up to 10 minutes or more.
