In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Warzone, a new playlist update is live. This brings fresh air to both games. Find out here in which modes you can unleash yourself.
What’s in the update: As the developers announced on Twitter on Tuesday evening, the new playlist in CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone is live. The following changes will be made.
In Modern Warfare, you will find:
- Ground War
- 3 vs 3 Gunfight – Snipers only
- Reinfected Ground War
- Cranked
- Shoot the Ship
In the Warzone, the playlist changes as follows:
- Warzone Rumble is removed
- Plunder Trios is removed
- Plunder Quads is new
The Duo-Stimulus mode, where the Gulag is deactivated, will probably only be added to the playlist on the weekend.
Fast-Paced Modes in the Playlist
These are the new MW modes: The new playlist is not exactly designed for campers. Cranked, for example, allows you to move faster after a kill in the “Boosted” mode – a state that you should extend through further kills, otherwise you will explode.
Additionally, the popular “Shoot House” and “Shipment” mix returns. It’s called “Shoot the Ship” and lets you hunt on the small, combat-intensive maps. In Reinfected Ground War, it’s about hunting the infected, which is suitable for whole kill streaks.
Here’s what happens in Warzone: The large Rumble battles and the Plunder Trios are out, but now you can go Plunder hunting as a group of four. Otherwise, there are no highlights for Warzone – until the new Stimulus variant is expected to arrive on the weekend.
It should get really exciting in CoD Warzone at the latest when the new Season 5 is approaching. There have already been the first teasers – in the form of crumbly videos.
