After the launch of Season 6, numerous players complained about crashes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and in Warzone – on all platforms, including PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A new update has apparently fixed the cause of the crashes.
What was the problem? On September 29, the new Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Warzone started. This brought various new content such as 2 new weapons, new maps, a new Battle Pass, and also a secret kill streak, but unfortunately, some bugs also sneaked into the game with the new data.
The most annoying problem for some may be the crashes. Because both on PC and on PS4 and Xbox One, some players couldn’t really enjoy the new content as the game constantly crashed for many.
New update fixes annoying crashes on PS4, Xbox One and PC
When is the update available? It is already live since the evening of September 30. It has been released on all platforms and was installed in-game.
What exactly does the update do? While Infinity Ward didn’t go into detail, the most important thing is: According to the developers, it fixes the crash problem on all platforms.
They thanked the players for their patience and encouraged them to contact support for further issues. No additional changes or fixes have apparently come to the game with this update.
