In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, the weekly playlist update is coming up. A Shipment week is starting again, along with a brand new mode in MW 2019 and pink trucks for Warzone.
What’s coming up this week? Compared to last week, when the comprehensive update 1.20 brought many innovations to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its battle royale counterpart Warzone, this week is relatively calm.
But only on the update front, because on the CoD battlefields it’s heating up again – Shipment 24/7 is back. There are also 2 quirky modes that haven’t been seen in multiplayer before. Warzone is getting a splash of color and is offering style-conscious soldiers an anime-inspired truck for sale. Of course, it’s completely pink.

Playlist update on 05.05 brings action mode and pink trucks
When is the update coming? The Activision blog post does not provide information about the release period this time. Based on experience, the playlist update usually comes either on Tuesday evening around 7 PM or on Wednesday morning at 8 AM. We will keep the article updated and post the new playlist here as soon as it is online.
What’s new in multiplayer? Modern Warfare relies on a mix of tried-and-true and super new modes this week.
- Shipment 24/7 – The mini-map Shipment as Moshpit
- Demolition – Search & Destroy with special rules
- Blueprint Gun Game – The fun gun game with blueprint weapons
What can the modes do? Shipment 24/7 has been an absolute classic in the CoD playlist since the release of the newly remastered mini-map. Here you play various modes in close quarters, and currently, you have to defend against nasty smoke attacks. Since many players are currently trying to unlock the new MG Bruen Mk9, there’s hardly a match without smoke clouds. By the way, the challenge for the new LMG will be changed soon.
Demolition is a search & destroy mode with special rules and made its debut with Modern Warfare 2, which recently went online with the “remastered campaign” on Xbox and PC. However, the rules are completely different from the otherwise more tactical search & destroy. All players can respawn, and each attacker always carries a bomb. If the attackers destroy both objectives (A and B), they win the round. A best-of-three is played, meaning it ends after 2 round victories.
In the gun game, you have fixed weapons that change with each kill. If you get a kill with each designated weapon, you win the round. The standard is 20 different weapons, so a minimum of 20 kills. In this special version, you get wacky blueprint weapons and must deal with the specified attachments.
What’s new in Warzone? Here it’s relatively quiet. The trio loot mode returns as “Blood Money”. Here, you earn more cash for kills than in the usual plunder mode.
In addition, a new bundle is coming to the real money store – “Anime Express”. If a pink truck invites you for a ride soon, remember your upbringing and never get into strangers’ vehicles. Instead, keep your best rocket launchers ready and turn the color fireworks into a truck explosion.

First info on Season 4 known – Warzone has had a tough weekend
What else is happening in CoD? Call of Duty has recently provided some information about the future of the BR title Warzone. For example, they have hinted at new map areas of the BR map Verdansk for Season 4.
The developers are still working on the BR duo mode. The responsible parties did not want to give a date yet, but there seems to be quite a bit to be done before we can go hunting as a duo. It’s possible that Warzone is even working on 13 more modes, as a leak has now revealed.
But what would be important for many players first is the remedy for the current problems. After the comprehensive update 1.20, there were server queues, vanishing experience points, and major lag issues. Activision has already reacted, but the weekend was a torment for many fans.
