The community update of the current week is coming and provides players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone with new cosmetic options. Additionally, there are some exciting modes for regular multiplayer, like a 3vs3 knife fight.
To keep the soldiers in the Warzone and on the battlefields of regular multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare entertained, developer Infinity Ward brings new cosmetics and playlists to the game weekly.
This week also offers some fresh content. Check here how the playlist changes throughout the week and what new modes you can expect. However, this is probably not the announced mid-season update that is supposed to bring a new map to multiplayer.

CoD Community Update from May 11.
When is the update coming? Here, Infinity Ward is being tight-lipped. In the Activision blog post, there is no information about that. Typically, it either comes tonight (May 12) around 7 PM our time or tomorrow morning (May 13) around 8 AM.

What is available for regular multiplayer? The blog post announces a mode that actually came to the game with a small update on Friday, May 8. A very special version of Gunfight where you fight 3v3 only with knives. Improve your knife throwing skills or melee weapons in an exciting fight on small maps.
In addition, the Chaos mode Shipment 24/7 will get 2 additional smaller maps in the rotation. Let’s hope that the player count will again be reduced to a maximum of 6v6. My nerves can’t handle the 10v10 there for much longer.
The Demolition mode, a special Search & Destroy with many more bombs and respawns, is allowed to stay in the playlist for another week. Here you can throw your tactics out the window and ruthlessly run with the bomb at the enemy points. Since respawns are activated, you can simply try again if your “head through the wall” strategy doesn’t work the first time.

What is available for the Warzone? There were no announcements this week for the Battle Royale. Already on Friday, May 8, a smaller backend update brought back the helicopters to the game and introduced the “Stimulus Solo” mode.
In this special solo mode, the Gulag is disabled and you come back directly to the battlefield when you are down and have at least $4,500 in your pocket. Then you can try to grab your stuff back and continue fighting as if nothing happened.

What does the new operator look like? The new update brings a purchasable premium bundle featuring a new female operator. Iskra hails from Urzikstan and returns to her homeland to protect it from Al-Qatala.
What else is happening with CoD? In an interview, the developers revealed some details about the next season. Possibly the bunkers will open in the Warzone and a completely new area will be part of the fight.
Additionally, a new weapon has apparently been accidentally discovered, which could also become part of Call of Duty with Season 4. The fast submachine gun was previously part of a leak and with the current discoveries, the rumors are heating up.
