Then it’s time to download the new major update 1.24. After that, you can dive into the new content. But what does Season 5 actually have to offer?

Map Changes, New Maps, Fresh Features and More – What’s in the Trailer for Season 5
This is the new trailer: In the new video, Warzone and MW go full throttle for 1 minute and 52 seconds. But it’s not just explosive action and spectacular explosions to admire. The trailer already showcases many details and changes that await you in Season 5.
But see for yourself:
Note that this is not a complete list of all innovations and new content of Season 5, but rather a compact preview. A complete look at all new features for Season 5 should be available shortly in the form of the corresponding roadmap, which you will also find here on MeinMMO.
What’s New for Warzone?
Stadium will open: The hints have been gathering momentum lately, and now it is official. The stadium in Warzone around Verdansk will be accessible in the new season and will be a battleground.
The trailer clearly shows that the roof is blown off and you can enter the stadium.
A train passes through Verdansk: This had also been hinted at in recent weeks and has now been confirmed. After a train line was added to Warzone that circles the map, the new trailer also shows the corresponding train.
How exactly this works and what it entails is not precisely known yet. At first glance, it seems that it will provide an additional way to score loot and traverse the game world quickly. Additionally, this train appears to be unstoppable.
Zip lines on roofs: Although this new feature is only briefly visible, it could have significant implications. On some roofs, it’s evident that you can now access them using zip lines.
This could be a counter to the annoying roof campers and provide players with an additional opportunity to reach rooftops, surprise campers, or circumvent regular stairways or elevator shafts.
What’s New for Traditional Multiplayer?
2 new 6vs6 maps:
- Suldal Harbor: A winding and tight map, set in a harbor somewhere in the Middle East
- Petrov Oil Rig: Also a tight and compact map on an oil drilling platform
New Ground War Map:
- Verdansk Int. Airport: This new Ground War map takes place on the premises of Verdansk Airport, which should be familiar in large part from Warzone
New Gunfight Map:
- Livestock: This new map for the fast 2vs2 gunfight mode takes place around a farm in a rural area
