Today, on July 7, 2020, a new playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD Warzone has been launched. While it removes a cool battle royale mode, it brings a new multiplayer mode that many players will surely enjoy.
What’s in the update: On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, around 8:00 PM German time a new playlist update was released. It brings the following new modes:
Multiplayer
- Gunfight Tournaments
- Realism Gun Game
- Dirty Old Houseboat
- Moshpit with Explosive Objectives
Warzone
- Cash: Blood Money (Quads)
In Warzone, the new Juggernaut mode from the last update has already been removed again. It changed the gameplay a bit by bringing the popular killstreak into the battle royale.
If you liked the mode, you can always get a secret minigun in Warzone – if you can make it that far. While you’ll lack armor, the weapon remains the same.
Chaos mode is cool, but …
Which mode is it? The “Dirty Old Houseboat” mode is a kind of extension for the popular playlist “Shoot the Ship”. Here, three of the most popular multiplayer maps are in the rotation:
- Shoot House
- Rust
- Shipment
The three maps are known for their sometimes very tight layout, their small size, and the associated action. Many players enjoy playing here because there are wild shootouts from start to finish and weapons level up particularly well here – someone is always running in front of the barrel.
The last time the mode was active, there was only criticism that the map Rust was in the rotation too often. Shoot House and Shipment are evidently a bit more popular.
What else is worth it? In the Realism Gun Game, the somewhat crazy gun game mode has more realistic rules, where the HUD is disabled. If you enjoy playing by these rules, you can also play all other modes as “Realism” versions by default.
In the Moshpit with Explosive Objectives, you will find all game modes that involve bombs and similar things: Cyber Attack, Search and Destroy, and Demolition. The mode Search and Destroy is somewhat different from the other multiplayer modes because it plays more tactically and is not as action-packed. World Champion Attach has therefore presented his loadouts specifically for Search and Destroy.
