Every week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone change slightly, bringing new modes and a breath of fresh air to the game. This week, Free2Play players can particularly benefit, as they can level up important weapons.
What’s going on with CoD? With the weekly community update, the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Warzone keep us informed. They continuously introduce new modes, grant double XP, or release new content for Season 3.
This week, Free2Play players should keep an eye on the playlist, as they can level important weapons for their loadouts over the weekend. A special mode and double XP make this possible.
Update April 17, 9:40 AM – On Friday morning, there was another playlist update, and for the first time, a duo mode was also introduced. “Scopes and Shotguns” could only hold a place in the playlist for a few days:
- Warzone
- BR-4
- BR-3
- BR-Solo
- Plunder Duos
Update April 14, 7:20 PM – The playlist update is live. These are the current modes:
- Warzone
- Scopes and Shotguns
- BR-4
- BR-Solo
- Plunder Quads
- Multiplayer
- Drop Zone
- Gun Game
- Season 3 Moshpit
By the way, 70,000 cheaters have now been banned in Warzone, but there are still problems: CoD Warzone bans 70,000 cheaters, but bullets rain from walls
Playlist update brings insane Warzone mode – Double XP this weekend
When does the Double XP event start? On Friday, April 17 at 7 PM, an event starts that gives us double experience points for our in-game level and weapon levels. However, there is no faster progress for the Battle Pass. The event runs until Monday, April 20, at 7 PM.
What do Warzone players get? The hot Battle Royale recently broke the 50 million player mark and wants to provide variety for its soldiers. That’s why the new “Scopes and Scatter Guns” mode brings a new experience for trio teams.
Here, we only find shotguns and sniper rifles as loot drops in Warzone, and one of the most important items is unavailable – the supply drop, which now costs $10,000.
The normal BR-4 and the “Plunder 4” will continue this week, the requested and leaked duo mode apparently won’t be coming.
Why do F2P players particularly benefit this week? Shotguns, like the R9-0 and sniper rifles, such as the HDR, are among the best weapons in Warzone.
The new “Scopes & Scatter” mode generously distributes these powerful calibers in the loot drops and crates of the Battle Royale, greatly increasing your chances of getting kills and points. Additionally, there are no loadout drops, through which some MW players have advantages over F2P players.
Since there will also be a double weapon XP event over the weekend, you can level up important shotguns and sniper rifles and prepare them for your personal loadout drops. If your account level is not quite at the maximum yet, leveling up will also be particularly easy over the weekend.
What does the multiplayer have to offer? Regular MP players also benefit from the Double XP event. So if you want to level special weapons, like the powerful Renetti, which is currently dominating matches with record TTK values, take advantage of the long CoD weekend.
As a special mode, there’s “Delivered” (Drop Zone). The matches play out somewhat like Domination, but killstreaks can only be earned through specific supply drops that come into play along with the position to hold. Additionally, the currently running “Season 3 Moshpit” is expected to remain in the game, featuring only the 3 new maps from Season 3 with a mix of various modes.
If nothing suits you this week, why not try something completely new? For example, a round of Warzone with a steering wheel as a controller.
