Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & the Battle Royale Warzone now sell wicked skins that brutally freeze your enemies upon a kill. Check out what it looks like and how much the good pieces cost.
What are these skins? With the launch of Season 4 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone, players gained access to new maps, fresh Warzone mechanics, and a packed Battle Pass. But the real-money shop also has some new highlights.
At the forefront is the new skin bundle “Wendigo”. Here you get an operator skin for Krüger, some cosmetics, and two icy weapon blueprints:
- Psychose – Assault Rifle FN Scar 17
- Evil Manifest – Submachine Gun Striker 45
Both blueprints introduce a new effect to the game, the Cryo-Dismemberment. When you kill an enemy, they don’t just fall down, but their limbs partially freeze and then break off. A brutal effect accompanied by a fresh breeze.
Wendigo Bundle Freezes Enemies
What does it look like? YouTuber “Hollow” treated himself to the package and went on a hunt with it. However, he wasn’t after this effect; he just thought the bundle itself was pretty cool. As he gets his first kills, he is thrilled. At minute 1:56, you can see one of these frosty kills:
Before the kill, the effect doesn’t do much, but it’s a fun gag for fans of “Dismemberment” in shooters. The new feature does not exactly follow the realistic approach that Modern Warfare takes, but neither do the tracer packs.
Is the bundle worth it? The Wendigo bundle costs 2,400 CoD Points, which is just over 20 euros. Overall, you receive 10 items:

If you like the style and enjoy playing with the weapons, this is a really solid bundle. The Executioner lets you attack with a white snow wolf or something similar. Thus, in addition to the brutal freezing effects, you get another special feature that hasn’t been seen before in Modern Warfare.
