In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the operators all come with different execution actions – a kind of finishing move for close combat. With Ghost’s new action, caution is advised; otherwise, you might quickly take yourself out.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a new operator since the launch of Season 2: Ghost. The character from the Season 2 Battle Pass returns with his own execution move, but it can go wrong very quickly.
Watch how Ghost experiences his most embarrassing moments and why his execution can take you out instead.

Execution turns Ghost into a “Wile E. Coyote” knockoff
How does Ghost take himself out with his execution? The good old force of gravity comes into play. The operator runs around the enemy and can then fall into the void.
With his standard execution against a standing enemy from behind, Ghost distracts his victims with a knife, runs completely around the enemy, and then shoots the helpless soldier in the face from the front.
On the new map Rust, there are very high platforms, and with the little dance around the opponents, you can fall deep enough to take yourself out.
What does the video show? The clip from the Reddit user “DJB126” vividly illustrates how easily this can happen.
While the CoD soldier is searching for roaming enemies from one of Rust’s highest points, one of his adversaries climbs up there and surprises him with a few quick shots to the stomach.
However, “DJB126” was prepared for the uninvited guest and had already placed a tactical insertion. With that, he was able to spawn right behind his attacker and take him out with a cool execution move. Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as planned.
Instead of a stylish kill, the user takes another death. Like the “Looney Tunes” character “Wile E. Coyote” on the endless chase after the “Road Runner”, Ghost suddenly stands in the air for a brief moment and then starts his long journey into the abyss.

How can I avoid this? If you are on a high platform with an enemy and are about to execute, pay attention to the ground in front of the opponent. You’ll need at least a meter, maybe even 2 meters of space to execute without risk.
Will it stay this way? In the past, faulty execution animations that didn’t work properly on stairs or ledges have been fixed. So it’s quite possible that we will see a change here as well.
