Although Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released some time ago, players have discovered a new trick in one of the original game modes that makes rounds much easier.
What are these perks? Those who carry the bomb in the Cyber Attack game mode in Modern Warfare get some bonuses:
- A drone (UAV) is active as long as they carry the bomb.
- A heartbeat sensor is attached to the bomb itself.
This was discovered by Reddit user Sakar911, who posted it in a short clip:
Both perks help locate enemies when you are carrying the bomb. Several other users have noted that a melee hit with the bomb is instantly lethal. So, a single strike is enough to eliminate an opponent.
Advantages in Cyber Attack through the bomb
This is how you use the advantages: Knowing where enemies are without having to use a killstreak is already quite useful in itself. However, that doesn’t help you if you’re being overwhelmed by enemies.
You should therefore only equip the bomb when you are in a relatively protected part of the map where you can’t be easily caught. Use the perks to scout the area.
Ideally, you then let your teammates know where enemies are so they can protect you. If you’re on your own, switch between your primary weapon and the bomb to eliminate enemies while also knowing their position.

What you need to watch out for in Cyber Attack: The game mode only grants you one life, but allows you to revive teammates. It’s also useful to scout with the bomb first to check if it’s safe to revive colleagues.
To win, you must either eliminate all opponents or plant and protect the bomb. Use the bomb’s scouting ability one more time before you plant it to ensure that you won’t be overwhelmed while setting it down.
