In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, campers on rooftops can get pretty annoying. One player couldn’t take it anymore. He gathered all his determination and cleared an entire roof with 12 campers.
What happened? In the “Ground War” map “Tavorsk District” of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, high-rise buildings with annoying snipers are part of the gameplay. However, not everyone tolerates the dominance of the longshot campers.
The courageous player “djdavyjeff” took all his courage and the shots from his Grau 5.56 and akimbo pistols together and freed his team from a bothersome camper infestation. After the clearing operation, there are 12 snipers on his kill list. Watch the celebrated clip here:
This is the clip: After just about a day, the clip already garnered more than 57,000 upvotes and immediately secured the third spot among the most popular threads on Modern Warfare’s Reddit (February 25, 11 AM).
At first, you see the somewhat uncertain approach to the popular camper spot on the Ground War map. After exiting, “djdavyjeff” was able to take an unexpected spot and even made a tactical entry to secure another chance to clear the roof.
However, it turned out that he wouldn’t need it. Within 30 seconds, the relentless sniper killer took out 12 campers who were terrorizing the map from the rooftop.
How did he do it? The rooftops of “Tavorsk District” are a magnet for campers. Many of the high-rises on the Ground War map are walkable and provide great spots for sniping. Consequently, these rooftops are also vulnerable to small raids.
“djdavyjeff” managed to get onto the roof undetected. The campers probably thought that one of the many players up there would have taken care of the guy in the helicopter. But “djdavyjeff” could assume a really good position and went into battle with strong control.
After that, he did everything right and ended the camper fest to the delight of probably all spectators. Such scenes are enjoyable for players and viewers alike. Perhaps it’s also a reason why the biggest PUBG streamer wants to switch to the BR of CoD. There are indications that the Battle Royale “Warzone” could launch on March 3.
Why was he so successful? In a normal “Ground War” match, it would have been more difficult. However, there is currently a “Realism Ground War” playlist running. All players have less health, and the HUD doesn’t provide as much information.
Thus, “djdavyjeff” was able to clear the entire roof and probably share the clips of his life with the joy of many thousands of MW fans.
