Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Battle Royale Warzone currently benefit from a gift that was actually available a few days ago. With a bit of luck, you can secure a €15 gift – twice.
What kind of gift is it? At the end of Season 2 of Modern Warfare, Activision wanted to give players a gift. Those who owned the Season 2 Battle Pass received ten levels as a gift.
Normally, a level up costs either playtime or 150 CoD Points, equivalent to about €1.50. Therefore, the gift of ten levels corresponds to around €15 in value.
In fact, players were supposed to find it easier to obtain the final rewards of the Season 2 Battle Pass just before the end of the season, but that didn’t work out completely.
Many players who have already reached higher Battle Pass levels reported that they did not receive the gift. This involved players who were at level 91 or higher in the Season 2 Battle Pass. They came away empty-handed.
What is happening now? Activision has now decided to distribute the gift a second time to all the players who have not yet received it. Originally, the level ups were to be transferable to the new Season 3 of Modern Warfare.
Since that apparently did not work for everyone, those who had issues can now redeem the gift again.
How do I get the gift? To secure the ten levels, you just need to log in and navigate to the “Battle Pass” section in the Multiplayer menu or in Warzone. There should be a notification with the gift waiting for you there.
Double gift due to bug – Again with a bug?
Some players are now reporting that they receive the level skips even though they already benefited from them in Season 2. They are receiving the gift a second time and saving even more money (or time).
Other players, on the other hand, state on reddit that despite the bug in Season 2, they did not receive a gift now either. They have come away empty-handed so far.
However, it is true that only owners of the Battle Pass were supposed to benefit from this, as initially stated. Those who did not purchase the Battle Pass for about €10 (1000 CoD Points) should not receive a gift either.
What we do not know, however, is whether it is sufficient to purchase the current Battle Pass of Season 3 to qualify for the level skips.
