The developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare confirm that a fix for a problem is on the way, causing collisions with teammates.
What is this problem? A few weeks ago, an update activated team collision in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This means that in multiplayer, you bounce off allied players when you actually want to pass through them.
The problematic part is that this change was not even mentioned in the patch notes, but rather found its way into the game silently.
Since then, players like NZickinja (Reddit) have been complaining: “Sometimes I get pushed out of my cover and shot because allies run into me.”
Thus, players lose their safe spot in cover due to this interference.

When will the solution arrive? Recently, Infinity Ward introduced its players to their Trello board. This is a platform where players and developers can view current issues and the status of their solutions.
As Reddit user Loz8 shows, the status of the player collision problem has recently changed. It now states that the issue will be fixed in a future update.
However, a specific date for when the solution will be implemented in the game is still pending. It is also unclear how exactly the issue will be resolved.
Just recently, a major update for Modern Warfare was released, focused mainly on multiplayer playlists.
Additionally, Season 1 of CoD MW has been extended. It is quite possible that the fix will then appear in the next major update that will be deployed after the end of the season.
