More leaks are emerging about the new Warzone mode, likely a Battle Royale, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The latest leaks reveal information about vehicles, equipment, and modes. Gameplay was also shown for the first time – but Activision reacted quickly.
What is Warzone in Modern Warfare all about? Alongside the Update 1.14 came a big surprise in the game aside from the new content of Season 2.
A new secret mode has since been confirmed as Warzone through a glitch. It can only be a homegrown Battle Royale from CoD Modern Warfare, and many aspects already suggest this: CoD Modern Warfare: Battle Royale is as good as confirmed.
Here you can find the latest information on the release, content, and size of “Warzone”.
Now there have been further leaks revealing new information about Warzone. We summarize the latest details for you.
The latest leaks about Warzone – everything points to Battle Royale
Where does the information come from? YouTuber and well-known CoD leaker TheGamingRevolution compiled numerous details from fresh leaks he received from players last night.
Some were already able to glitch into the new Warzone mode and even complete the training.
This is how Activision reacts: Activision acted quickly and had the corresponding video from TheGamingRevolution taken down due to copyright violations. It also included the first gameplay footage from the training area.
Furthermore, accounts of players who have already glitched into the mode were permanently banned.
But even despite the banning, many new details have come to light.
The modes in Warzone
Training: Earlier leaks already suggested that there would be a training mode. Now some players have already been able to glitch into the training ground “Armistice Training Facility”.
There, players can familiarize themselves with the key aspects and mechanics of the new mode, such as supply stations, plunder, or drop kits before diving into the actual action.
Trios: It seems that Warzone will be played partly in a trio format, meaning in teams of three – similar to Apex Legends at its launch. This is indicated by an in-game prompt seen after completing the training mode.
Previously, the option “Fill Squad” was discovered, indicating that players can either go solo, with a pre-made team, or with random players.
Whether there will be any further formats is currently unknown.
The vehicles in Warzone
There are now first details about the available vehicles in Warzone.
The following vehicles have already been confirmed:
- ATV (Quad)
- SUV (SUV)
- Helicopter
- Transport Truck
- Tac Rover (a type of buggy)
Plunder, Drop Kits, Equipment, and Supply Station in Warzone
Previously, there was information about
- Drop Kits that can be requested in Warzone
- and Plunder, which seemed to be a type of currency
Now, through TheGamingRevolution, we have a better understanding of how everything is interconnected.

Plunder: This appears to actually be a currency or, better said, a currency system for the Warzone mode.
Plunder is essentially cash that you can loot in Warzone while exploring the world. You gain it for killing enemies, completing contracts, etc.
Plunder can be used to purchase a variety of items. Two of the most important are the Drop Kits and equipment.
In this tweet, TheGamingRevolution posted an audio file from the game explaining what you can do with Plunder.
Drop Kits: These are customized loadouts – similar to what you know from multiplayer. There, you choose weapons, killstreaks, perks, or field upgrades. However, you don’t spawn with them immediately in the match.
Instead, you have to purchase a Drop Kit Marker with Plunder. When you use this, a type of supply drop is dropped where you can choose one of the loadouts you customized before the match.
Equipment and Supply Station: You can also purchase equipment with Plunder. This can only be done at specific locations – the Supply Stations.
The offerings range from armor, gas masks, to a cluster strike or a drop kit marker.

Keep in mind: TheGamingRevolution has indeed predicted many things about Modern Warfare correctly, but that does not automatically mean that it will be the same this time. These details have not yet been officially confirmed. So enjoy everything with the necessary caution.
What do you think about these new details? Does it make you excited for more? Or does it make you more skeptical?
