In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, numerous bugs are annoying players. The developers have now addressed 3 bugs that will soon be fixed.
This is what happened: With the start of Season 3 in Modern Warfare and Warzone, several bugs were introduced that can sometimes determine the outcome of a match.
Now Joe Cecot, the Co-Design Director of Infinity Ward, has spoken out about some bugs and explained the current status.
Issues with Challenges and Glitches
On Twitter, Joe Cecot responded to some users who reported the issues to him. He addressed 3 bugs.
This problem with challenges exists: A player reports that he needs to get kills with Claymores for a challenge, but the kills are simply not counting. Cecot states that a suitable fix is already in the works.
These glitches ruin Ground War: In the large game mode Ground War, some glitches are causing trouble. On the map Downtown, a player suddenly spawns in a completely bugged house after respawning. He reports that he gets eliminated immediately upon exiting.
Another glitch affects the map Aniyah Palace. Players are said to have landed on the palace due to a glitch. Cecot mentioned that he has looked into the issue and the developers are now working on a solution.
Premature spawns in Search and Destroy: In the “Search and Destroy” game mode, premature spawns are annoying players. Many fans report that they were able to start the round 10 seconds before everyone else and could thus reach the enemy spawns early.
Joe Cecot responds to this and says: “Terrible bug that we cannot reproduce in development.” It seems that so far no solution has been found. However, since the developer referred to the bug as “terrible,” one can hope that a solution is being sought vigorously.
Are there any more bugs? The 3 mentioned errors are not the only bugs in Modern Warfare and Warzone. In Warzone, for example, there are 2 spots that can become death traps.
Already at the start of Season 3, Cecot talked about 3 bugs that should finally be fixed.
