Spectacular kills are the order of the day in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but now a player shows a completely new way to destroy a drone: namely with a supply drop.
Here’s what it’s about: The personal radar is one of the numerous killstreaks in Modern Warfare. You can deploy it to the sky and then spot your opponents. However, these opponents can also shoot down the drone with the radar, and that is exactly what was shown in the clip.
Normally, this can be easily done with the rocket launcher, but it can also be done in a more spectacular way, as the reddit user “DwightKurtShoot” shows.

In the video, the player pulls out his rocket launcher and aims at the opponent’s drone. At the moment he fires, a supply drop descends in front of him.
He hits it with the rocket and catapults it towards the drone. The drone is hit and explodes.
This is what is being discussed: The clip also faces criticism. If you take a closer look at the clip, details stand out. Some viewers say that the box didn’t hit the drone at all.
In fact, you can see the box continue to fly after the explosion. It could simply have been hit in addition and the rocket could have destroyed the drone on its own. So whether the box actually hit is not entirely clear. However, the clip is spectacular nonetheless. After all, the rocket still had an effect even after hitting a box.
This is what makes the clip special: This clip is certainly not suitable for replication because you need perfect timing here. You have to fire exactly at the moment when a supply drop falls between you and the opposing drone. After all, it only has a fall duration of a few seconds and must also be deployed at the right moment.
Are there similar clips? There is another clip on reddit showing that you can jump on the supply drop’s drone and fly up with it. The player in the clip even gets a kill because he can see over all the buildings.
