After a major Title Update 1.04 and a Playlist Update on 25.10., another Playlist Update followed on 26.10. This should please many fans of large-scale battles. We take a look at the patch notes.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update from 26.10. – The Patch Notes
What has changed in Modern Warfare? After the first major and a smaller update from the previous day, there were only 3 minor changes this time. However, many fans of the new large mode Ground War should be pleased. Here are the changes:
- On the Quarry map, 64 players (32vs32) can now join in the fun. The player count has been increased by 16 additional operators from 48. Now Ground War can finally be played at full scale (64 players were already available during the beta).
- A problem was fixed that prevented players from being revived in the HC Cyber Attack mode (which is a core element of the gameplay there).
- The Defcon timer is now set to 45 seconds. This increase had been requested by numerous players. Previously, players only had to hold all flags in Ground War for 30 seconds for the Defcon nuke to be called and end the game in favor of the holding team.
Is there finally a solution for the problems with the Xbox One X? Since the release of Modern Warfare on October 25, some players have been experiencing massive problems with the game on Microsoft’s flagship Xbox One X. There are frequent hard crashes, the game freezes completely, and the console becomes unresponsive.
In the current update, there has not yet been a fix for this. However, the developers have already found the cause of the problem and assure that they are working intensively with Microsoft to resolve this issue.
What about Dev Error 6068? Another problem currently plaguing many players of Modern Warfare 2019 is so-called Dev Errors. Particularly, Dev Error 6068 is ruining the mood of many players. This crashes the game completely. Many can only play under limited conditions or not at all.
So far, there is no way to fix this error yourself or a working workaround. Accordingly, demands are becoming louder towards the developers to quickly resolve this annoying error.
Unfortunately, there was no fix included in the current update. When an official solution will be available is still not known. Unfortunately, affected players will have to continue to exercise patience.
