But before you can dive into the new content, you need to download the new Modern Warfare update 1.19 on all platforms. This patch ushers in the new season and brings fresh content to the game.
How large is the update 1.19? The update is now live and can be downloaded. On the PS4, the patch is about 11.8 GB, and on the Xbox One it is 11.63 GB.
What changes with update 1.19 on April 8?
What is new? First of all, the new update brings numerous new contents to the game. Right at the start of the season, in the launch week, among other things
- the new operator Alex
- a new Battle Pass with 100 tiers
- 2 new weapons, the SKS DMR and the Renetti pistol
- 3 new multiplayer maps: Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, and Aniyah Incursion
- New Warzone mode “Quads” for teams of 4 players
- as well as new vehicle skins
- and the PS4-exclusive Call of Duty: Warzone Combat Pack (Season 3) for PS Plus members

What changes with the start of Season 3
In addition to the new content, there were also various adjustments and especially numerous bug fixes in many areas of the game. We summarize the most important ones for you.
General fixes:
- Backend fixes against the annoying storage error 13-71
- A problem was fixed that sometimes caused annoying graphical distortion and a disturbing black shadow followed the players
- Clan tags should no longer appear twice
Audio:
- The volume of the airplanes during infiltration has been adjusted
- The volume when entering the Gulag has been adjusted
- The volume of distant weapons has been reduced
- Some footsteps sounds when using sights and crouching are now not as far away – Depending on the ground condition
Weapons:
- The “The Line Breaker” variant of the EBR now performs exactly like the base weapon. There was a lot of excitement and Pay-to-Win allegations lately.
- Smoke grenades from the 40mm underbarrel launcher now correctly emit smoke.
- The spread for the shotgun pellets of the 6-R mag for Model 680 has been decreased
- Akimbo weapons now start with 2 extra magazines instead of just one
- The spread of the VLK Rogue shotgun when firing from the hip has been reduced
- The spread of slug rounds of the shotguns has been reduced in sight view
SpecOps:
- Vehicle damage is now signaled through text
- Bug fixes for Operation Headhunter
- Fall damage is now the same in Co-Op as it is in Warzone

WARZONE:
- Now it shows how far you are from your teammates in the match
- Numerous exploits have been fixed
- A bug was fixed that prevented players from being revived if the animation was interrupted
- A problem was fixed that allowed players to be killed by vehicles even though they were not in close proximity
- A problem was fixed that allowed players to become invulnerable while switching seats in the Tac Rover
- A problem was fixed that prevented self-revive from being used in solos
