Season 1 started in early December and throughout this timeframe, which runs approximately until February, players can level a Battle Pass and expect additional content. You can find all information about Season 1 here.

When did it start? The update for the next Season segment was rolled out to the servers around 7 PM our time.
What free content was available? CoD speaks of some specific maps, new modes, co-op missions, and a small gift for all players.
- New MP Maps
- Vacant
- Shipment
- Gunfight
- Christmas version of Docks
- Shipment as a Gunfight map
- Spec-Ops
- 3 new co-op missions
- New mode
- Cranked – A team deathmatch with lots of time pressure, if you’re not fast enough, you’ll be blown up.
In addition to the new maps and the brand new mode, the regular 2vs2 Gunfight also returned. The 24/7 playlist was replaced with a “Season 1 Moshpit” where you can play the two new maps, Vacant and Shipment, with various modes.
We have compiled the highlights from the patch notes for you here in German.
Modern Warfare has been continually providing players with new content and updates since its release to keep players motivated. The first player is so motivated that he has now accumulated 100,000 kills, check out which weapons he has relied on.
What’s the deal with the gift? In addition to the playable content, every player gets a small gift from Modern Warfare. You can find the present in the CoD shop, in the category “Individual”.
Here, it seems there is a calling card with a dangerous unicorn (Shimmering Sprint) and a tier skip for the Battle Pass for every player.
Was ist das alles? Modern Warfare is offering players double XP for weapons starting December 20. This way, you can unlock a decent amount of attachments before relatives drag you away from the screen with threats. Meanwhile, you can also improve your aim.
- Double Weapon XP
- From 20.12. at 7 PM until 23.12. at 7 PM
Update brings new Operator bundles – unlock Nikto
With the update, the new operator Nikto became available for purchase. However, he is not a Christmas bargain, you will have to put down 2,400 CoD points for the new skin.
The Spec-Ops operator Zane received a personal bundle with special items from the dark character’s nightstand. This one also costs 2,400 CoD points.
The “Holideadly” bundle not only offers players a great pun but also some festive items to express the holiday spirit on the battlefield. With 1,100 CoD points, the bundle is a bit cheaper, but that still amounts to around 10 €. This is still cheaper than the 20 €, that Modern Warfare charges for a standard feature.
What do you think of the new content? Is there anything in particular that you celebrate? Or does this content leave you cold?
