In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players have discovered a trick that allows you to level up in the Battle Pass from Season 1, even if you’re not actively playing. However, this only works on PS4.
What exactly has been discovered? Players in Modern Warfare use a trick that allows you to comfortably level up in the Battle Pass rank without having to do much at all.
Once you have everything “set up”, you can simply put the controller down and do something else – whether it’s homework, going to the movies, working, or sleeping.
During this time you will continue to make progress in the Battle Pass. In about 2 hours, you can passively earn a bit more than 2 ranks.
Things to keep in mind with this trick: This trick can only be applied on PlayStation 4, as it is based on the Survival mode. However, Survival is exclusive to PS4 for one year.
The method still works even after the latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which was released on the evening of December 6. Some players have already tested this, as evidenced by comments under the corresponding YouTube video.
However, you should disable the automatic shut-off in the settings of your PS4 if you want to use this for an extended period.
This is how the Battle Pass trick works on PS4
The preparation: To use the trick, you need to start your own game in Survival mode (PS4 exclusive).
To do this, select Coop on the right side of the main menu of Modern Warfare. There you go to Private game, at the very bottom of the mode menu. Now select the option “Own Game”.
You are almost done. Set Survival as the mode and St. Petrograd as the map. Now you can start the game solo and play against waves of bots.
This is how the trick works: Once the game starts, you will face a wave of bots, that is, AI-controlled opponents. It is important that you eliminate all but one bot.
This one bot should ideally have an automatic weapon and not a shotgun – as the shotgun proves to be problematic for the trick. Additionally, it is advisable (though not strictly necessary) to lure this opponent to the area of the billiard hall on the Petrograd map.
Once there is only one bot left, you need to find a sort of safe spot where the opponent cannot hit you.
Move to the middle of the map, where the tram is located. First, jump onto the roof of the tram stop.
From here, jump further onto the roof of the tram. Then you need to position yourself correctly on the roof – facing the billiard hall.
Now you should try to lure the opponent to your right side of the tram with some careful glances. Then lie down at the safe spot.
This will cause the opponent to stand next to the tram, possibly throw a grenade that you need to avoid, and then fire a few shots. But if you get it right, he won’t be able to hit you and will just remain there.
Now you can put down the controller and stay like this – for as long as you want. The match will continue until you finish it or quit.

What is the Battle Pass anyway? A short time ago, Season 1 began in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is the first official season. This brings numerous new content to the game and goes hand in hand with the Battle Pass.

Why are we reporting on this trick? With this “cheese,” you are exploiting a mechanic, but essentially it only does one thing – you save some time leveling up the Battle Pass and make progress there even when you don’t have time to play.
