Landed a kill with the throwing knife in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is always cool, but one player has taken it to the next level. He managed to get multiple knife kills at the start of the round without seeing the opponents.
Here’s the deal: A video has surfaced on reddit showing some impressive kills. The player uses only the throwing knife and doesn’t see his opponents. He throws the knife blindly into the air and is successful.
Other players are just amazed and congratulate the soldier on these spectacular kills.

The kills are shown on numerous maps from Modern Warfare. So it was not just a lucky shot, but a rehearsed tactic.
Another player managed to get 11 kills with throwing knives in one round.
This is why it works so well: At the start of the round, both teams always spawn together in one spot on the map. If you know this spawn point, you can throw a knife or grenade in that direction right at the start of the round. The players are still clustered together, and you could get a hit.
Of course, a lot of practice is also required. After all, you have to calculate the flight path of the knife and know exactly where and how steeply to throw the knife.
In the end, a bit of luck is also needed that a player is standing right there and hasn’t moved further away yet.

Is such a gameplay tactic worth it? It’s not effective in all game modes in Modern Warfare. If you’re playing a mode where you cannot respawn, it can be quite effective. You can take out an opponent before they can become a threat to you and your team.
If you play modes where there is respawn, it’s nice but not effective. The player comes back into the game anyway.
