The creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare suddenly released another small update on the evening of December 20th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, which fixes a variety of issues. We take a look at the patch notes from December 20th.
The major update 1.12 is just a few days old, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is already pushing out a new patch. For instance, it fixes the snowballs on the new winter map. What else is included in the new patch, you can find out here.

Update from December 20th – German Patch Notes for PC, Xbox, and PS4
Do I need to download anything for the patch? The current patch came out on December 20th and was a backend update. You didn’t have to download any data outside the game, everything happens more or less automatically.
What did the small patch bring? The changes all fall into the “General Adjustments” category and fix several bugs in the game. However, the collision of players near walls has also been improved.
- If you were playing with mouse and keyboard, there could be an error if you right-clicked on a player who was not on your friends list.
- Improvements to player collision near walls
- Collision in video games has to do with the accuracy of the intersection of individual graphic elements.
- If a player stands next to a wall, fewer parts of the character should now stick out of the wall.
- Sometimes players who have called in a Juggernaut killstreak received a second Juggernaut suit.
- A few exploit fixes
- There was a bug that caused snowballs on the winter map of Docks to explode before they touched a surface.

What exploits were involved?
The update was only released via the Infinity Ward homepage, and so far there has been no statement from the developers on which exploits have been specifically fixed.
The two points “exploit fixes” and “wall collision” could have a more significant impact on the game than it seems. Depending on which issues were fixed and how the collision was improved.
It’s quite possible that you can no longer walk so close to a wall. However, details are purely speculative without a comment from the developers.
