Tomorrow, on September 19, the next round of the Open Beta for Modern Warfare begins. Call of Duty is now even giving a weapon to especially diligent players.
What is the gift? You can earn the Hammer Shotgun, which will then be available to you in the full version of the game. The weapon is already fully configured and you can use it right away.
It should be another incentive to play a bit more in the beta. This way, you can get ahead of your opponents in the full version who do not possess this special weapon.
How to get the Hammer Shotgun in the Beta
What do you need to do for the weapon? You don’t have to complete any special tasks, just be especially diligent.
You need to reach level 10 in the beta by September 23 at 7 PM German time. If you manage that, the shotgun will be available to you at the release of Modern Warfare on October 25.
Level 10 is quite easy to reach. Many players wished for a level increase after the first day since level 10 was quickly reached.
Is the Hammer Shotgun exclusive? So far, there is no information about that. The shotgun is a modified version of the classic .725 shotgun, which you can already play in the beta.
Whether this configuration is only available exclusively to beta participants remains to be seen.
How do I participate in the beta? Starting tomorrow, on September 19, the beta will begin its last round for now. This time, not only PS4 players can participate, but all platforms have access.
During the beta, crossplay will also be enabled. You will be able to play with other consoles.
On September 23, the Open Beta will end. Until then, you must also reach level 10 to receive the Hammer Shotgun.
