Currently, PS4 players are allowed to dive into the multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Today, on Sunday, September 15th, there are new modes and maps for all players to discover.
On reddit, the developers have provided information about what players can expect in the beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starting today.
What content has been added today? The mini-map has been activated and now shows you the position of allied players.
Additionally, the following maps and game modes have been added to the beta:
- Team Deathmatch: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
- Domination: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
- Headquarters: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
- Headquarters: 10vs10 Grazna Raid
- Domination: 10vs10 Grazna Raid
- Playlist: Cyber Attack – Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner, Grazna Raid
- Playlist: NVG – Azhir Cave (Night), Hackney Yard (Night) – TDM, Domination, Headquarters
Until when does the beta run? Interested players can play the beta today, on September 15th, and tomorrow until September 16th. Afterwards, you will have to wait until the next testing phase.
Who can play the beta? Currently, only PS4 players can test the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, you will need a PS Plus membership for this.
Will there be another beta? The current beta will not be the last one. From September 19th to 23rd, there will be another testing phase. During this beta, you will also be able to try the game on PC and Xbox One.
However, to access the beta on PC and Xbox from September 19th to 20th, you will need early access. Only then will the multiplayer beta be open to everyone. Xbox players also require an active Xbox Live Gold membership.
For PS4 players, the second beta phase is already open. You do not need early access to participate in the beta there. So you can start right on September 19th.
