Call of Duty: Mobile received a new weapon in Season 11, the NA-45 sniper rifle. This has already caused players to curse, as it has an unfair mechanic that reminds of “noob tactics” from the past. Now the gun is banned, at least for professionals.
What kind of weapon is this? The NA-45 has been in the game since the Halloween event in CoD Mobile. It is a sniper rifle that has a unique feature.
While the weapon is weaker than most snipers in terms of damage per shot, it has explosive ammunition. The NA-45 has only two rounds in the magazine: The first sets an explosive charge, and the second detonates it.
These two rounds can be fired in quick succession. Although the NA-45 is (still) not among the best weapons in CoD Mobile, it is incredibly powerful because of this. The explosion can surprise enemies and kill them instantly. In the weapon’s trailer, you can see how it works:
However, professionals can currently do little with the NA-45. The new sniper was banned from the championships on the same day it was released.
How do I get this weapon? Anyone who wants the new sniper rifle without paying for it must complete a series of challenges:
- 10 kills with the “Agile” perk
- 5 kills with a sniper rifle
- earn the “Long Shot” medal 5 times
- 15 kills with a sniper rifle with two attachments
- 20 kills with a sniper rifle with five attachments
- 20 kills with the Outlaw with a laser attachment
- 20 kills with the Outlaw with a scope attachment
- 20 kills with the Outlaw with four attachments
The challenges also provide a lot of XP for the new Battle Pass. If you don’t want to invest the time but have some cash to spare, you might get the NA-45 with the “Lycanthrope” skin in the new lottery.

NA-45 too unfair – Banned in the Championships
Why is the weapon unfair: The use of the weapon resembles “noobtubing”, a technique that has been frowned upon since the early days of shooters. In this, players aim roughly at the ground in front of a player with rocket or grenade launchers and kill them without actually having to hit them.
The same trend has emerged with the NA-45. Players no longer aim properly, as is customary for snipers, but quickly scope in, fire both shots at the ground, and kill a player without them being able to defend themselves effectively.
Since the shots can come in quick succession and only then does it reload, there are hardly any ways to prevent this. Many players struggle with it and do not quite know what to do about it.
Why is the weapon banned? In the currently ongoing Championships of CoD Mobile, the NA-45 cannot be played. It is not explicitly stated whether this is because it is too strong or because the tournament is currently underway.
Both are possible, although usually in tournaments it is not allowed to change the rules or allow new content during the ongoing competitions.
Can I play it? The weapon was therefore banned from the Championships of CoD Mobile, at least for now. Apparently, the problem with the NA-45 is greater than expected. However, you can still use it in regular games.
If you want to farm some XP in Season 11 or rank up, the NA-45 might help you – or stand in your way, as you could also run into it. In our special, you can read what changes with Season 11 and what has happened in the game since release.
