To start Season 2 of Call of Duty: Cold War and CoD Warzone, 2 new weapons are coming to the game. The assault rifle FARA 83 and the SMG LC10. We will show you how to unlock both weapons.
What is happening right now in Call of Duty? A lot! On February 25, Season 2 started in Cold War and Warzone. This brings a new zombie mode, a brand new Battle Pass , and lots of new features in the patch notes for the update.
There are also new weapons in the game. You can unlock two weapons through the Battle Pass that you can then play with right away.
How to unlock the 2 new weapons from the Battle Pass
These are the weapons: To give you an overview of the weapons, we will briefly introduce them here:
- The FARA 83 is an assault rifle
- The LC10 is an SMG, which means a submachine gun
Both weapons can be unlocked completely for free. So you don’t have to invest any real money, but you will need to allocate some time for it.
Here’s how to get the FARA 83: You unlock the assault rifle at level 15 in the Season 2 Battle Pass. So just collect XP diligently, and you will unlock the weapon. Level 15 can be reached quite quickly, and those who play regularly should unlock the FARA 83 within a few game sessions.
Here’s how to get the LC10: The SMG is available at level 31 in the Battle Pass. So you need to unlock another 16 levels to own this weapon. Therefore, plan for a bit more time, although you can probably reach this level easily with regular play.
Can you get the weapons faster? Yes, but for that you need to invest CoD Points, the currency of the game. For 2,400 CoD Points, which is equivalent to about 24 euros, you can skip the first 20 levels in the Battle Pass.
By skipping, you will automatically unlock the FARA 83. For the LC10, you will need to play through 11 levels, which of course goes much faster than all 31 levels.
Anyone wanting to unlock the LC10 even faster can do so with CoD Points as well. You can skip one level in the Battle Pass for 150 CoD Points. This way, you can unlock the remaining 11 levels within seconds.
In the Warzone, there are large map changes and new game modes, so you can discover fresh content there as well.
