In Call of Duty: Cold War and CoD Warzone, the Battle Pass for Season 2 is coming soon. Here we show you the most exciting tiers and rewards.
This is happening now in Call of Duty: On February 25, Season 2 kicks off in Cold War and Warzone. Along with it, there will be a new Battle Pass, some of which is even free.
The most important information about Season 2 can be found here:
- CoD Cold War & Warzone: Update for Season 2 comes in staggered phases – Here are all the times
- CoD Cold War: Zombie mode Outbreak brings 4 new game modes – Here they are
What does the Battle Pass offer? There are a total of 100 tiers in the Season 2 Battle Pass. You can unlock various cosmetic items, such as new skins or blueprints.
However, there are also new weapons and gameplay-relevant content available for every player, whether or not they purchased the Battle Pass.
What does the Battle Pass cost? You pay 1100 CoD Points (approximately 10 Euros). Alternatively, you can purchase the Battle Pass plus 20 tier-ups for 2400 CoD Points.
What’s included in the Season 2 Battle Pass
Here’s what you get at launch: Those who purchase the Battle Pass will receive some nice cosmetics right away. These include:
- New Operator Naga with the “Viper” skin
- Survivor skin for Park with a new Operator mission
- Wellington Safari watch for your Operator
- A seasonal XP boost of 10% throughout the entire season
These weapons are available: In total, you will unlock 2 new weapons through the Battle Pass. They are free for everyone – you do not need to have purchased a Battle Pass.
The first weapon is the FARA 83. The assault rifle is unlocked at tier 15 and is especially noted for its accuracy at long range. However, it has a strong recoil.
The second weapon, the LC10, is unlocked at tier 31. The SMG boasts a 34-round magazine and accuracy. Furthermore, the weapon is particularly fast and can take out opponents within seconds.
Here are more highlights: To keep you informed about the contents of the Battle Pass, we have included some highlights for you here:
- Tier 19 includes the Finishing Move “Tactical Roll”
- Tier 20 brings the Renegade skin for Adler
- Tier 21 contains the LMG blueprint “Glade Ripper”
- Tier 27 includes the SMG blueprint “First Mate”
- Tier 55 contains the blueprint “Dragon Idol” for SMGs
- Tier 70 brings the Coyote Dust skin for Powers
- Tier 95 includes the reactive blueprint “Vulture Exo” – the more kills you get in a round, the more your weapon’s color changes. If the weapon is dark red, it means you’ve taken out a lot of enemies.
What you get at tier 100: Those who reach the last tier of the Battle Pass receive some additional items. For example, there is the “Warlord” skin for the new Operator Naga.
Additionally, there is the legendary blueprint “Poison Dart” for the LC10 and 1300 CoD Points. With these points, you can easily purchase the next season pass and save more money.
Is the Battle Pass worth it? If you play Cold War or Warzone a lot, then the Battle Pass is a good deal. Those reaching tier 100 will receive enough CoD Points to buy the next pass directly, so you won’t have to spend additional money.
Otherwise, keep in mind that buying the paid Battle Pass does not give you any gameplay advantages. The new weapons are available without purchasing the paid Battle Pass. So be aware that you are only spending money on cosmetic items.
This is what awaits you now in Call of Duty: With Season 2, you have plenty to do in Cold War and Warzone. The Zombie mode Outbreak and the multiplayer of Cold War are free to play this weekend.
Furthermore, it could soon get exciting in Modern Warfare again. A leak also suggests a new season there. This is exciting because there have been hardly any updates since September 2020, so a new season could bring a lot of content. All information about the leak can be found here:
