What’s going on in Warzone and Cold War? On April 22, 2021 Season 3 started in CoD Warzone and Cold War. There are now some new content for you to discover in-game, including new weapons that you can unlock.
In this overview, we show you the new weapons PPSh-41, K31, and the Ballistic Knife. You can unlock both firearms through the new Battle Pass of Season 3. For the knife, you need to complete a challenge.
Unlock PPSh-41 in Warzone and Cold War
This is the weapon: The PPSh-41 submachine gun will be familiar to veterans from Call of Duty: WWII. Its damage per shot is rather average. However, the high rate of fire and large capacity make it quite powerful in close combat.
How to unlock it: You can unlock the PPSh in Season 3 through the Battle Pass. Just reach level 15 there. Once unlocked, you can use it in the multiplayer matches of Warzone and Cold War.
Unlock Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle in Warzone and Cold War
This is the weapon: You can unlock the K31 sniper rifle later in the Battle Pass. The bolt-action rifle has high accuracy and aims quickly. It also has room for a lot of ammunition. For quickscope players, the Swiss could become a really good friend in Season 3.
How to unlock it: You only need to reach level 31 in the Season 3 Battle Pass in CoD Cold War and Warzone.
Unlock Ballistic Knife in Warzone and Cold War
This is the knife: The Ballistic Knife is the third weapon that you can unlock in Cold War. You can fire the blades of the knife and pick them up again, or use it for melee attacks directly.
However, in Warzone, the knife will only come later. The flashy weapon will be included in the Battle Royale in the mid-season update.
How to unlock it: To unlock the knife, you must earn a “One Hit, One Kill” medal and get a melee kill without dying in between. Do this in 15 different matches (via Dexerto.com).
How strong the three new weapons will ultimately be in Call of Duty will be revealed in the coming weeks.
