For Call of Duty: Cold War and Warzone, 3 very special weapon blueprints are on the way. Leaks now show for the first time the so-called “Mastercraft Bundles” that everyone will envy you for.
A soldier is not just a soldier: A famous saying goes, “War… War remains the same” and this also applies in Call of Duty. But what is constantly changing and has more customization options than ever before are the soldiers fighting in these virtual wars.
In Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone, you can choose from countless cosmetic customizations and thus wreak havoc on the battlefield with your very own fighter. A cool operator here, an animated emblem there, and with your rare weapon blueprints from the Battle Pass cleaning up is twice as fun.
In CoD, it’s a good tone to make the lobby envious with rare skins and mock opponents in the killcam looking good.
AK-47 takes off as a rocket weapon soon
Leakers have now found a weapon skin that takes the appearance of your guns to a whole new level. We present the rocket-AK:
What do we see here? Normally, a blueprint changes the colors of the weapons and details like a bandaged barrel are added. However, the discovered skin for the AK-47 literally transforms the weapon into a rocket:
- On the stock of the weapon, there are 4 turbines that expel fire.
- While aiming, the typical fins stick out, which resemble a shark fin protruding from the rocket fuselage.
- It gets crazy during reloading: The AK then activates the afterburners, and the nozzles give it some serious gas.
- The poor soldier almost loses the weapon from his hands. Only with great effort can he control the weapon.
The name of the blueprint is supposed to be “Rocket Science” and is to be part of one of 3 Mastercraft Bundles. The skin fits perfectly into the setting of Cold War, where the fear of the world-ending atomic rocket was always a present danger.
More Mastercraft Bundles are on the way to Call of Duty
For the Season 1 of Cold War and the Battle Royale Warzone, 2 more “Mastercraft Bundles” are on the way:
- The AK-74u transforms into a colorful toy gun called “Mind Condition.” Anyone who gets taken out by it will likely feel humiliated.
- The KSP 45 mutates into a cassette recorder. The so-called “Retro Renegade” naturally comes in a stylish retro look of the 80s.
All 3 Mastercraft blueprints are also expected to come with 5 weapon attachments. Here you can see them all:
This is why players are concerned: The crazy blueprints are well received. Something like the rocket skin has probably never been seen in any Call of Duty before. Anyone who sees the rocket for the first time in the killcam will likely be quite surprised and ask what just erased them.
Now players fear that such an extravagant skin won’t be cheap. Activision charges 1,800 to 2,400 CoD points (approximately 20 €) for bundles that include an operator skin and/or a blueprint.
Some fear that the new bundles could be even more expensive. How much the Mastercraft bundles will ultimately cost or when the skin will exactly appear is not evident from the leak.
