Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has 2 item bundles coming soon that will be given to you players for free. The items can also be used in the soon-to-be-integrated Warzone. Learn here what the giveaway is all about and how to get the new items.
What’s in the bundle? In a tweet, the developers of CoD Cold War announced that there will be a pre-season bundle. The joint first season of CoD Cold War and CoD Warzone has been postponed from the original December 10, 2020 to December 16.
The two free item bundles are supposed to provide you with a small consolation. The bundles contain:
Field Research Bundle:
- Epic Park Operator Skin “Scorch”
- Epic blueprint for the submachine gun Echo “Excavator”
- Epic reticle for sights
- Epic calling card
- Rare weapon charm
Certified Bundle:
- Epic Garcia Operator Skin “Barrio”
- Rare blueprint for the assault rifle Echo “Ground Patrol”
- Epic reticle for sights
- Epic weapon charm
Who and what exactly these blueprints and operators are, Treyarch unfortunately did not mention. However, both should be available in both Cold War and in the Warzone when they merge with Cold War on December 16.
How to get the two item bundles for Cold War and Warzone
When does the bundle come? According to the developer blog of Cold War, all players will receive the bundles when they log into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War between December 8 at 19:00 and December 16 at 08:00 German time. Nothing more is required to qualify for the bundles.
Whether the items will arrive immediately or if one has to wait until the end of the event was not clear from the blog post. Traditionally, they would then be available through the in-game shop.
