Call of Duty: Cold War is about the events of the Cold War, focusing on covert operations (Black Ops). And not just in the game, but also in the real world.
Since the creators of CoD 2020 sent a few mysterious wooden boxes in early August, some players have been puzzling over the crazy Easter eggs hidden by developer Treyarch. Now, players have cracked another riddle and unlocked a reward for all of us: a cool truck skin in Soviet style.
Cold War rewards “Easter Egg” collectors, and you can rejoice
How do I get the skin? For this, you need accounts on two sites:
- PawnTakesPawn.com – An “Easter Egg” homepage for CoD Cold War
- CallOfDuty.com – The official homepage of CoD
On the CoD site, you will then need to link your respective accounts, such as your PlayStation or Xbox Live account. After that, you must complete the following steps:
- Log in to PawnTakesPawn and the CoD homepage
- Go to pawntakespawn.com/invisibletruths
- Enter the following codes in the fields:
Top Left: FUGAZIFILE
Middle Left: BURNBAG
Bottom Left: INTELFIRE
Top Right: INFOHAX

Why is Cold War giving away the paint job? This is still part of the grand reveal of the new Call of Duty. On the PawnTakesPawn site, the hunt for the first trailer started a few weeks ago, and since then, the site updates from time to time, offering attentive observers new secrets.
With the paint job, Call of Duty rewards the community because players managed to solve a tricky riddle. They had to play through a game over 40 years old to have strange postcards sent to their homes. With these cards, they then had a map for the text-based game and part of a QR code. The short version: With the postcards, they deciphered the 6 codes for the truck and found the “invisibletruths” website on PawnTakesPawn.

How long will the skin be available? That’s unclear. The reward may only be for the puzzlers and could go offline in a few hours. Grab the skin as quickly as possible to be sure. However, it may also be that the reward stays online permanently. The article will then be updated accordingly.
What else is there to know about CoD Cold War? So far, only the campaign has been officially announced, and there was only a glimpse of the multiplayer in the first trailer. The reveal of the online modes is scheduled for September 9.
However, the first longer images have already been seen. A leak showed nearly 4 minutes of multiplayer gameplay – with a new mode and a map that presumably takes place in Miami. The head had to face quite a bit of criticism on social media afterwards, but there are also some players who are celebrating the game already: the big YouTube streamer “DrDisrespect”, for example.
