Treyarch has released two short teasers on Twitter showcasing two more new maps for the traditional multiplayer part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Shortly before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the developers introduced the new maps Summit and Morocco in short clips. These two new maps will already be included in the multiplayer map lineup at the launch of Black Ops 4 on October 12, 2018, bringing the total number of known multiplayer maps to 13.
The Morocco map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Morocco takes place in a small Moroccan village in the middle of the desert. The map consists of numerous buildings and many winding corridors in the center of the site, as well as some more spacious areas at the edges of the map. Morocco resembles the Yemen map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in some aspects.

Fans are excited about the new map: The initial fan reactions are mostly positive. Fans appreciate the desert look and layout of the new map.
The Summit map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Summit is a remake of a popular map from the first installment of the “Call of Duty: Black Ops” series. As the name suggests, Summit takes place on a mountain peak. In a research station from the Cold War era, it gets intense in narrow corridors, numerous small rooms, spacious warehouses, and some open areas.

Fans are pleased about an original: In the shown scenes, Summit apparently does not differ in its layout from the original in the first Black Ops installment, which seems to please many fans of the original map. The initial fan reactions are almost universally positive. Fans can hardly wait to have fun on the familiar peak.
More community favorites are making a return: Summit is not the only popular map that will return in Black Ops 4. The maps Jungle (Black Ops 1), Slums (Black Ops 2), Firing Range (Black Ops 1/2), and Nuketown are also confirmed and will be playable in the latest Black Ops installment. Each edition of the game will include these maps.
By the way: This year, the traditional multiplayer part of Call of Duty will be expanded with the in-house battle royale mode Blackout in Black Ops 4.
