Close Quarters – Solo Event in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta
What is Close Quarters? It is a new event-based playlist in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta. The mode is already live and can be played. This time, the new event is aimed solely at solo players.
What makes Fast Collapse special? As the name suggests, this new event playlist revolves around close-quarters combat. In this framework, players only have submachine guns (SMGs), shotguns, pistols, and the good old brass knuckles at their disposal. The motto is: Get in close!

What else does the beta offer: In the course of the Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta, you can expect another event in the coming days. Close Quarters is the second of a total of three events that will occur during this testing phase after Fast Collapse.
This was the focus of the latest update for the Call of Duty Blackout Beta
Apart from the new event playlist, there were changes in the following areas:

- Mason, Menendez, Reznov, and Woods have now been unlocked in the character menu
Perks: The activation time for perks has now been set to 2 seconds
Various fixes:
- General fixes for stability
- A kill cam has been implemented
- A user interface (UI) bug has been fixed

These aspects will be monitored closely and adjusted as needed:
- The volume of own footsteps
- Score and level system
- Items should be easier to pick up – even if you don’t look down at them
- The damage outside the safe zone
- Wingsuit/base jumping
- Kill notifications
- Projectile penetration
- Awareness perk
