Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has not even been officially revealed yet, but data miners claim to have found the release date for the new CoD 2020 – also for the multiplayer reveal.
Where does the information come from? Recently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone received a big mid-season update. And this patch not only brought various new content for the current CoD installment but also proved to be a real treasure trove for data miners and leakers.
Because in the new game data, numerous details about the new CoD 2020 – namely Black Ops Cold War – were apparently found. Among other things, the description of the game and the arsenal have already been leaked. However, diligent data miners found even more.
Data miners find possible release date for Black Ops Cold War
Keep in mind, the following information is not officially confirmed. So take it with a grain of caution.
When could the release happen? As the website known for reliable “Call of Duty” news, CharlieIntel reports, data miners have apparently already discovered the release date for the new Call of Duty 2020.
According to the data miners, the release date is said to be the 13th of November as indicated in text files and legal notices regarding the different found editions (of CoD 2020).
The original source was already deleted on Twitter due to copyright violations, but CharlieIntel is not known for spreading misinformation. Moreover, some interpret the deletion as a sign that there might actually be something to the information.
Date for multiplayer reveal discovered: Additionally, according to CharlieIntel, the data miners have also found the date for a multiplayer reveal in the text files.
This is supposed to take place on September 9. Here, however, the tweet was still available.
If this is correct, then today’s reveal (26.08.) of Black Ops Cold War will likely focus more on the single-player experience and the story.
