Bless Online revises the “class balance” following criticism and gives players the opportunity to experiment with new builds. Players are reacting differently to the changes.
The gameplay still doesn’t feel right: In recent days, players have increasingly voiced their concerns about the game balance in Bless Online. The gameplay felt off. Particularly, the Mage and Ranger were seen as too strong by most players.
The following criticisms were raised:
- The damage from abilities is too high and monsters die too quickly. PvE is too easy.
- Healing abilities are way too weak. The Paladin struggles to keep up with healing in PvP and Guardians can’t utilize their strengths as tanks.
- Both PvP and PvE content are only moderately enjoyable for some players under these conditions.

Neowiz is tweaking the class balance
Neowiz is responding quickly to the criticism and making several changes to the gameplay. The evasion skills of the classes now have a cooldown and no longer require specific resources. Additionally, they now have multiple charges. You can therefore dodge or teleport multiple times in succession if your class possesses such a skill.
These changes affect all classes:
- All classes will receive more health points
- The damage from almost all abilities has been reduced
The gameplay should therefore become somewhat slower, and players will no longer mow down their opponents so quickly.
To experiment with the new changes, Neowiz has reduced the cost for a skill reset to 1 Lumena until June 8. Lumena is Bless’ premium currency.

All classes receive individual adjustments:
- Paladin: The power of healing abilities will be increased, its offensive abilities will cost less mana, and the “Endure” skill can now be charged 3 times.
- Guardian: The “Guardians Faith” skill can now be charged 3 times and no longer consumes “Bravery”.
- Berserker: The “Dodge Move” can now be charged 5 times and no longer consumes “Anger”.
- Ranger: The “Dodge Move” can now be charged 3 times.
- Wizard: The “Blink” can now be charged 3 times (4 times if you enhance it).

Players receive the changes with mixed feelings
Due to the changes, players need significantly longer to defeat an opponent, even if that opponent is at the same level as they are. Leveling up has especially become more demanding for classes whose focus is not on damage. Dungeons that could previously be easily soloed are now significantly more difficult. Therefore, players feel that Neowiz has gone “too far” with the nerfs.
Players appreciate that almost all classes have become more agile due to the patch. In Bless Online, many enemies announce their strong attacks with red marked areas on the ground. With the patch, players can now dodge these attacks more frequently. They also like that Neowiz responded quickly to the criticism.

What do you think about the class balance adjustments? Do you still enjoy playing your class?
Update June 2: After much criticism, Bless will change the class balance again
