What is it about? Recently, we asked you on our Facebook page and in our Discord for your opinion on the currently best co-op games. And you responded! Numerous readers left us comments with their favorite games.
More than 50 games have been listed that now need to be sorted out. Among them are games like Destiny 2, Minecraft, or Monster Hunter World, so there should be a game for every taste.
What is this good for? With the sorted-out games, we want to create a list of the best co-op games.
What should you consider when choosing? We focused on more recent games that you can play on PC or the current console generation. So if you were looking forward to a classic on the N64, you will unfortunately be disappointed.
Moreover, the games should be those that fundamentally:
- completely revolve around cooperation in small groups (2 – 5 players). We have our own rankings for MMORPGs.
- In these games, the PvE aspect, such as the joint overcoming of enemies, should constitute the main part of the game.
Games that focus heavily on PvP – the fight against other players – had to stay out. We will do that separately, as we did with the best fighting games. Exceptions include FIFA or Mario Kart, which also offer a lot for playing together against the computer or have advanced AI.
