A true buddy sits on the shoulder
Basically, the entire Pokémon GO consists of catching pets and letting them fight in arenas. However, there is a special Easter egg that allows some of the pocket monsters to sit on the trainers’ shoulders.
Bouncing buddies: The Easter egg is part of the buddy function in Pokémon GO. By selecting a Pokémon as your buddy, you receive candies for walking with the monster. Consuming the treats makes the Pokémon stronger. A handful of buddy Pokémon jump onto the trainer’s shoulders, including Pikachu and Eevee.
An homage to the Pokémon series: There is an anime about Pokémon in which the eternally 11-year-old main character, Ash, embarks on his journey as a Pokémon Trainer. His first Pokémon was the little electric mouse, Pikachu. A special feature of this Pikachu is that it simply does not want to stay in its Pokéball and often makes itself comfortable on Ash’s shoulder.
