Conan Exiles is on the final stretch to release on May 8 after over a year in Early Access. With a new trailer, Funcom and Deep Silver show insights into the finished game – and the previously inaccessible biomes Swamp and Volcano.
The development of Conan Exiles is nearing completion and already feels almost finished – significantly more complete than most peers in Early Access. A large part of the map is ready to be explored and dozens of different enemies stand in your way.
Now Deep Silver has released a new trailer for the finished game, in which you can dive a little deeper into the story of the Exiled Lands. Check out the gameplay from areas you cannot explore yet and listen to the narration.
Death and Lust in the East, Fire and Snakes in the North
The trailer guides you through the story of the game and everything you can experience. Defeat monsters, fend off other exiles, and survive to ultimately uncover the secrets of the world.
The highlight of the video is the insights into the two new biomes that you can visit at release. In the East lies a swamp with insects, wildlife, and the Lumerians, who worship the goddess Derketo in orgies and rituals. Explore sunken cities and learn more about the goddess who walks between lust and death!
High in the North, above the icy expanses and mountains, a volcano awaits you, populated by snake people and the worshipers of Skelos. Just make sure they don’t sacrifice you to the whispering voices in the volcano …
Dark Dungeons and Blooming Gardens
In Conan Exiles, not only exile and death await you, but also dungeons and stories. You will find diaries of those who were there before you and entrances to deep caves where treasures await you.
If you prefer to stay above ground, you can now also furnish your bases with herb gardens, where you can grow alchemical plants. This way, help your friends prepare for battle – or the next feast and drinking party!
