At TennoCon 2018, two new Warframes were showcased: Revenant (Vlad) and Garuda. The brutal Garuda was shown for the first time at the Warframe festival. Revenant was already known.
Digital Extremes presented the new Warframe Garuda today. She was shown alongside the Warframe Revenant/Vlad at an art panel at TennoCon 2018. TennoCon is the major fan festival for the Warframe community.
The cover image of this article shows Revenant on the left and Garuda on the right.
Vlad was already shown in June during a dev stream. You can find everything about the Eidolon vampire here:
New Warframe Garuda is based on a raptor dino
Who is Garuda? Not much is known about this Warframe yet. However, the developers described her as bloodthirsty (gory). Garuda is said to love playing with her prey. She is based on a Velociraptor, those are the biting creatures from Jurassic Park. Therefore, Garuda also has gigantic claws with which she will slash her enemies.
I, Leya, am currently at TennoCon 2018 and quickly snapped a picture of the new Warframe. You can also see concept art of Garuda in the image below.
When will Revenant and Garuda be released? That is still unknown.
We at MeinMMO are reporting live from TennoCon 2018 in Canada this year.
Update at 1:00 AM. A new, impressive open-world map called Venus has been introduced. And Warframe is coming to the Switch!
