Amazon has recently released new footage of their MMO New World. Short videos showcase a variety of landscapes, from dangerous mountains to the most beautiful beaches.
The Abandoned Ruins in New World: In the game world, we are traveling to a new continent and exploring it. This is inspired by the exploration and colonization of America in the 17th century.
However, on this new continent, there are many abandoned ruins. But who built these structures and why they are now deserted is something we will learn in the game itself.

Dangerous Mountains: The Shattered Mountain seems to be a particularly dangerous place. With its dark rocks, clouds, and lava, it somewhat resembles the area of Mordor from Middle-earth.

Dreamy Beaches: However, there are not only dangerous corners in the new world. This video snippet shows us a beautiful beach at sunset.

With new information, things are progressing slowly in New World. While we now know what the entry into the game looks like, there is still an NDA on the actual alpha and a release is not yet in sight.

Swords for Close Combat: In another tweet, various swords were showcased. These are excellent for close combat and come in different versions and designs.
Similar to the armor, these are very realistic. Special effects and oversizes were omitted.
