The new models for Goblins and Worgen in World of Warcraft are finally here. Check out the differences to the current appearance!
With Patch 8.2.5, Blizzard is finally fulfilling a long-standing promise and giving two more races a visual overhaul. The Worgen and Goblins from World of Warcraft are finally getting new models. This affects not only the player characters but also all NPCs belonging to these factions.

These are the new Goblin models: The changes in male Goblins are hardly noticeable at first glance, but they can clearly be seen in the faces. The head shape has changed a bit, appearing more angular and no longer as bulky.
Much more noticeable are the changes in the female Goblins. Especially the faces are now much softer, and the facial features appear more feminine, without losing the sneaky expression.
These are the new Worgen models: In the case of the Worgen, the improvements are more noticeable due to the size of the character model. In males, the face shape is particularly striking.
Now you can see much more of the Worgen’s eyes, which are no longer slitted. The intense eye colors make it all the more threatening and wild than before.
Female Worgen receive a lot of praise: Blizzard has been praised for the design of the female Worgen so far. They were previously mocked by many players as they had more of a “Chihuahua” look than resembling a type of dark werewolf. With Patch 8.2.5, female Worgen now look much more wolf-like and their lips are closed.
However, there is also criticism. Some players believe that the female Worgen now look too much like “Disney”.
When will the models be available? The new models will be available to players with the release of Patch 8.2.5. While the patch does not have a fixed date yet, if Blizzard sticks to its previous plans, the release should take place around mid-September.
