BioWare has announced further changes to the loot in Anthem. In particular, the bosses in Strongholds are expected to become more attractive to players.
Changes to the loot are coming: In the last livestream on March 20, BioWare announced some changes for Anthem. These are to be implemented with Patch 1.04, which is scheduled for next week.
A major topic in the next update will be the loot in the Strongholds. Changes to drop rates and “Elysian Caches” are planned.
A summary of the latest livestream can be found here in the Anthem subreddit as well as as VoD on Twitch.

What are Elysian Caches? Elysian Caches, or Elysian boxes, are special chests that you can find in Strongholds once you have defeated the final boss. The chests are supposed to contain cosmetic items and Ember for crafting.
To open the caches, however, you need keys. You receive these from daily challenges. You can see how many keys you have in Fort Tarsis next to the display for your coins.
With the Elysian Caches, the whole team receives the rewards. Thus, if all four players have keys for the chests, the team will also receive four rewards.

The changes to the rest of the loot: Further changes are happening to the loot of Stronghold bosses as well as to the chests in Strongholds and Freeplay.
The bosses in Strongholds will continue to drop only one guaranteed Masterwork item at each difficulty level from Grandmaster 1, but the rest of the bosses’ loot can also become Masterwork or Legendary with the update.
Chests in Strongholds and in Freeplay are expected to receive better drop rates for rarer gear with the upcoming patch.
