In Pokémon GO, there is now a new badge to earn. Additionally, there are adjustments to Niantic Wayfarer, allowing more trainers to evaluate PokéStops.
This badge is new: Trainers at level 38 and above can now work on the Wayfarer badge. For the gold badge, you must evaluate a total of 1000 suggestions in the Wayfarer portal.
Accordingly, the requirements for using Wayfarer have been revised. Now more players can gain access to it.
These changes await you in Wayfarer
What’s new: Now all trainers starting from level 38 can access Wayfarer. Previously, you had to reach the maximum level of 40 to be able to use Wayfarer.
The other requirements remain the same. You will need to pass a test first and then diligently evaluate the suggestions of other players.
Here’s why you should access Wayfarer: Every trainer starting at level 38 now has a new badge to fulfill. You should therefore process at least 1000 suggestions to get the badge to gold.
You can actually also advance the badge with the other Niantic games. Those who gain access to Wayfarer through Ingress or Wizards Unite will also level up the badge in Pokémon GO.
What the changes bring as benefits: With the adjustments, there will naturally be significantly more new trainers who can process suggestions. Your PokéStop suggestions could therefore be processed faster and possibly confirmed.
Currently, it is also the best time to suggest new PokéStops. After all, new trainers are now trying out the system and other trainers want to gold the new badge. So especially now your suggestions are likely to be processed particularly quickly.
