Fortnite: Battle Royale has brought an exclusive series of challenges with the new Skull Trooper skin. They were quite tricky. Therefore, Epic has now turned the tasks into the complete opposite.
What is the Skull Trooper Challenge? Meanwhile, the legendary Skull Trooper skin is back in the shop. The skeleton man was one of the first skins in the game and returned to the in-game shop only after a year. Until then, accounts with the outfit were worth a small fortune on eBay.
As a special bonus, all buyers of the skin received a special challenge series, through which they could earn experience points, battle pass stars, and their own back bling “Ghost Portal”.
Skull Trooper Challenges were too hard
What were the special tasks for the Skull Trooper? The challenges for the new skin were pretty tricky. Among other things, you had to open 10 chests in one round and deal 1,000 points of damage in a single match.
Incredibly difficult challenge: The last task is especially difficult, as you need around 10 kills for it. Depending on how many hitpoints and shields your opponents have. This can only be achieved by really skilled players and those with a lot of luck.
Epic nerfs the challenge, now it’s a piece of cake: Epic has reacted to the criticism from some players and has completely turned the task into the opposite.
In a Reddit post, a developer from Epic explained that now you only need to play 20 matches during the weekend of October 12th to 14th, 2018. The matches only need to be played, not won. You just must not quit the game.
Back bling arrives automatically next week: If you can’t complete these 20 matches over the weekend, you will simply receive the back bling with the Ghost Portal during the next week. However, you still need to buy the Skull Trooper from the shop first.
