In Fortnite there are many obvious new features. However, you can only notice one when you are downed. We at MeinMMO warn you of fleeing enemies who are knocked out. Because they disappear faster than you can look.
What do you need to watch out for? In Fortnite, since the beginning of Chapter 3, there have been many new changes. These include not only new weapons or the map but also inconspicuous features that are only discovered later.
A new feature has now been discovered that allows players lying on the ground to interact with many objects in the world. So keep a close eye on your opponents and don’t let them escape as shown in the following clip.
Player manages to escape thanks to new feature
With the new feature, players can perform huge distances and actual stunts in no time to reach a safe harbor. Reddit user FoxManYT shows you what is now possible:
After the player has been defeated and lies on the ground (but is not yet eliminated) he still falls out of the window, then jumps over two spider webs and can even, despite his knocked-out state, interact with the zip line to escape. In doing so, he covers a long distance and can be revived by a teammate.
A suitable environment is a prerequisite for this, as not every POI in Fortnite has zip lines and the new spider webs from Spider-Man. If you manage to escape from the clutches of your enemy, you can still pull off cool stunts and leave your enemies speechless.
What do players say about such small changes? This change is being celebrated. Many players didn’t even know that such distances could also be covered by “dead” players. A reddit user says:
That was incredible. I had no idea that you could use a zip line while being knocked out, thanks for this tip. I just found out that you can also drop loot while lying on the ground.
adds reddit user Maluki5
It becomes clear that not only can zip lines be used. The following actions can be performed:
- Open doors
- Open chests
- Drop and pick up weapons and items
- Use zip lines
- Open safes
Could this feature have negative effects? People are humorously speculating on reddit that your teammates could exploit this. So if you have a good weapon, your friends could force you to give up your weapons in exchange for a revival (via reddit).
This feature is still cool. But you should keep a close eye on your opponents or eliminate them completely to prevent such escape actions as seen in the video. It remains to be seen whether Epic decides to adjust this feature so that “dead” players can only drop items and no weapons.
What do you think of such adjustments? Do you find them cool? If so, have you also managed a daring escape? Let us know in the comments.
