As soon as the new map in CoD Warzone went live, there are already players who prefer to hide underneath it. From there, they take out unsuspecting opponents who have no idea where the fire is coming from.
The problem is: A glitch allows cheaters to move beneath the map Verdansk ’84 at different locations and take out their opponents.
For instance, videos are being shared from the airport and the stadium where players are suddenly shot through the ground. Or they somehow land in the otherwise inaccessible area.
This applies, for example, to a Reddit user who showed in a video what it looks like under the map. The player moves beneath the actual ground on textures that give them some freedom of movement beneath the airport.
Among other things, they shoot at walls and vehicles to show: From here, you can actually deal damage in the “normally accessible” area of the map.
Cheaters lurk under the Warzone map for the first time
How dangerous this is for players: Since it is apparently possible to participate in battles from below the map, cheaters can cause quite a bit of trouble under the map.
This can be seen in videos of other users who are taken out by less peace-loving players from below the map. This happened, for example, to this Reddit user in the stadium, who was quite annoyed by the sudden attack:
This is not the first time players have faced this problem in CoD Warzone. For instance, there were already glitches under the map in the old subway station where cheaters could wait for Easter egg hunters and complete the last step of a search.
Now, there is again a comparable problem on the new Verdansk-84 map. Currently, one should be especially careful at the airport and in the stadium and avoid the places if sudden attacks come out of nowhere.
The newly started Season 3 fortunately came not only with new bugs but also with content changes. These also affect the weapons in Warzone. Which weapons are currently the favorites for the new meta in Warzone, you can find out here.
