Before the release of Crimson Desert, the developers answered some important questions from the community. They also address the question of an offline mode.

There they explain that while Crimson Desert has an offline mode, there is a limitation that needs to be noted.

Offline Mode with Limitations
How does the offline mode work? The offline mode of Crimson Desert is available and allows players to play offline at any time. However, upon the very first launch, Crimson Desert must be connected to the internet; otherwise, it will not work.
This may be part of the anti-piracy measures for Crimson Desert, and the developers want to ensure that the copy of the game has been legally purchased.
Even a week before the release, lucky players were able to receive physical copies of the title. But these were also locked by the developers in such a way that no early access to the title was possible. This likely confirms the necessity of the mandatory online launch at the beginning.
Additionally, the developers also plan patches and updates to fix bugs and improve performance when the title launches. An internet connection will be required for this as well.
What else have the developers answered? In their post, the developers also talked about the connection between the PC and the consoles. Even if you purchase the game on both devices, you cannot connect them, and there is therefore no cross-saving.
The save on the PC remains there, and the save on your console does too. However, it has already been confirmed that Crimson Desert allows you to play with an Xbox or DualSense controller on PC. FSR and DLSS are only supported on PC and MAC.
