Call of Duty sells expensive Dune skin for 40 euros, doesn’t even show the star’s face

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone there is currently a Dune skin. For this, you have to reach deep into your pockets and you won’t even see which character it is.

After there was recently a crossover in Call of Duty with Kong x Godzilla, where the fans were upset about gloves for 80 €, there is now a collaboration with Dune. Different bundles can be purchased.

This includes the Paul Atreides Operator Bundle as well as the Harkonnen Tracer Pack. Each costs 2,400 Call of Duty Points, which is about 20 €. If you purchase both bundles, you will also receive the Paul Atreides Fedaykin Stealthsuit Skin as a reward.

Faceless Hero in Camouflage Suit

What kind of skin is this? The skin, for which you have to pay almost 40 €, is based on Paul Atreides, one of the protagonists from the Dune movies. He is portrayed by actor Timothée Chalamet.

With this skin, you will get Paul Atreides in a camouflage suit. However, you can only guess that this is Paul Atreides: his face is also covered by the camouflage suit.

Whether this is a hero from the Dune universe or just a random soldier from the Call of Duty universe, you cannot say for sure in the end.

Community Criticizes Price of Bundles and Skins

What does the community say about this? Besides the fact that Paul Atreides’ face is covered with the skin, the pricing is also criticized by the community.

Considering that the base price of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is $69.99 (approximately 70 €), the price of about 40 € for a few cosmetic updates is relatively high.

• Don’t buy packages for 2800 points, that’s 28 euros/dollars, that’s 1 third of the complete game. No bundle is worth 1 third of a complete game, writes a player on Reddit
