5 reasons that make Modern Warfare so special
This is generally different: Infinity Ward announced early on that Modern Warfare would be developed in a different manner. It focuses on the brutal reality of warfare and aims to be detailed and direct.
This has caught the attention of many critics again. Many of them are now enthusiastic about Modern Warfare after the beta and the numerous trailers.
Modern Warfare introduces new game modes
This excites critics: If you were a fan of large battles, you could not really get much from Call of Duty before. However, Modern Warfare has changed that significantly. Infinity Ward introduced the Ground War mode, bringing the largest game mode in CoD history.
In the beta, Ground War was able to excite up to 64 players at once. Huge battles can now finally be celebrated in a Call of Duty.
New maps that nurture many thoughts
This excites critics: So far, there were many small maps in the world of Call of Duty that promised close combat. If you wanted to play on large maps, you usually had to go with competitors like Battlefield. However, everything changes with Modern Warfare.
The developers promised the largest maps in the history of Call of Duty. But this is not the only innovation with the maps. Many fans are excited that they now have to play much more tactically in CoD.
The warfare has been brought to the forefront here. You no longer run along the classic 3 paths through the map, but now play on asymmetric maps. These are incredibly realistic and reflect the theme of Modern Warfare: brutal modern warfare.
Modern Warfare returns to its roots
This excites critics: The last shooters in the series were often very colorful and crazy. Think, for example, of Infinite Warfare, where you flew around with jetpacks in a high-tech suit. Modern Warfare, on the other hand, remains classic and that is received very well.
